Gerald on the farm's Model 1945 Meadows 30" Vertical Stone Mill.

Non-enriched Grits and Corn Meal
is prepared for sale in 2 lb. bags.
The current products are
of the yellow variety.
Recipe - MUFFINS, CORN STICKS, &
CORN BREAD.
2 Cups Harmon's Non-enriched Stone
Ground Corn Meal.
1 Tablespoon Sugar
3 Tablespoons Baking Powder
1 Egg
1 1/4 Cup Milk
3 Tablespoons Margarine (Softened)
1 Tablespoon Salt
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Mix
egg, milk and margarine together. Add
all at once to dry ingredients. Pour
into appropriate mold for selected item
to 2/3 of depth. Bake for 15 to 20
minutes.
Recipe - Grits
1 Cups Harmon's Non-enriched Stone
Ground Grits
3 Cups Water
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Wash Grits by stirring thoroughly with
water. Skim off some of the excess
bran or chaff to your liking. Bring to
boil and reduce heat. Keep stirring
occasionally as not to scorch. Add
small amounts of water to attain the
texture you prefer. Salt to taste.
Serve hot. Serve immediately.
Serve with butter and/or gravy.
